Axel’s Hombre de Piedra is one of those iconic tracks with a wildly unique imagination and an extraordinary mash-up of musical styles. A track with such novelty rarely lends itself to a remix. Yet, Santi as adventurous and eclectic in his approach to musical production and sound design as Axel himself, manages to breathe new life into Hombre de Piedra. In his rendition, Santi weaves a dark hip-hop beat, a body-trembling bass, and a wicked brass section into Axel’s already explosive track. The result is a dazzling revisit to the playful and haunting world of Hombre de Piedra.
